I had a few minutes of free time today, and I remembered a conversation Katie and I had the other night.  We were trying to determine which animated character we were most like, and we came up with all kinds of ideas for ourselves and others.  We started off just by using Pixar films, and then Disney, and then animated movies, and then all cartoon / comic characters.  This got me thinking so I decided to surf the net for some quizzes on “Which Cartoon Character Are You?”  One quiz determined I was the Cat from Alice in Wonderland, and then 3 others determined I was Bugs Bunny.  Another one said I was Optimus Prime which I thought was pretty cool, and then I took a quiz on which forgotten 80′s cartoon character you were, and I was He-Man.  That one was too Awesome!  Anyways, I like all of those selections better than what my wife picked out for me.  Her #1 pick for me was Shrek.  I hate Shrek. Couldn’t I at least be Donkey or even the Ginger Bread man; anything but Shrek.  I said if I’m Shrek she is Fiona.  I really think she is more like the Road Runner though or Mrs. Potato Head from Toy Story. 

I have considered what character my Pastor Brandon would be and I really struggled with it.  So instead of narrowing it down to one I made a list of cartoons, and picked who I thought I was and who I thought he would be.  The first name is who I think I would be, and the second is who I think my Pastor would be.  He can kill me for it later.

Here is one last interesting thought.  Our new president is actually going to be in a  Marvel Comic book (Spiderman).

No matter what you think about our president he is a character, and he needs our prayers.  Please be praying for our country and our new President Barack Obama as he takes office on Inauguration day January 20th, 2009 where Pastor Rick Warren will deliver the invocation.
